The Madness: Back 2 School- Week 3


 THE MADNESS:  GOES BACK TO SCHOOL- WEEK 3


This is the third week of our crazy annual contest.  My rating system is a four 6 system.


BILL CAMP 

Bill is not a wild card this week but the mini-series I'm watching helps to get him a category.

Joker (2019, 122 minutes):  Bill stars in this psychological thriller as Detective Garrity in this origin story of the Joker.  I believe this is dark enough to qualify.

The Outsider:  Tear-Drinker (2020, 56 minutes, 666):  Bill co-stars in this mini-series as the character Howard Salomon who is an attorney.  

The Outsider:  The One About the Yiddish Vampire (2020, 60 minutes, 666):  A supernatural force makes it ways around a small town.

BORIS KARLOFF

The horror icon Boris is a wild card this year in My Own Madness but not this Madness.

Black Friday (1940, 70 minutes, 66 1/2):  Boris stars as Dr. Sovac who tries to save a friend by transplanting another brain into him.

BRUCE CAMPBELL

Bruce is a wild card and has been every year so I continue that tradition.

Spider-Man (2002, 121 minutes, 666):  Bruce has a cameo as the ring announcer in the wrestling scene when Peter takes on Macho Man Randy Savage.

Lucky Charmed S5, E17 (2003, 42 minutes, 666):  A group of leprechauns are being targeted by a demon and the Charmed Ones try to help.



Cat House S5, E18 (2003, 42 minutes, 666):  Piper and Leo go to marital counseling and they see their past together along with Phoebe and Paige.

EMMA ROBERTS

Emma is not a wild card this year but she could be in the future, especially in a Women of Horror category.

American Horror Story:  Multiply Thy Plan S12, E1 (2023, 43 minutes, 66 1/2):  Emma stars in this season as actress Anna Victoria Abbott who wants to become pregnant and is trying IVF.  She also feels she is being targeted by someone or something.


American Horror Story:  Rockabye S12, E2 (2023, 43 minutes, 66 1/2):  Anna is looking forward to the Awards but is still seeing visions.


Scream 4 (2011, 111 minutes, 666):  Emma co-stars in this installment as Sydney's cousin Jill and the Ghostface Killer is back to their old ways.

-Adults playing teens like Emma playing the teenage Jill
-Fraternity party

HEATHER DONAHUE

Heather is not a wild card this year but has a couple worthy selections to become a category.

The Blair Witch Project (1999, 81 minutes, 666):  Heather stars as herself in this found footage film where her and a couple friends are making a documentary about a witch legend.  This was really the start of the found footage film.


The Outer Limits:  The Surrogate S7, E4 (2001, 43 minutes, 66 1/2):  Heather guest stars on this anthology series as Claire.  She agrees to be a surrogate with something else more sinister going on.

JENNA KANELL

Jenna is not a wild card this year but has a couple worthy selections to become a category.

Renfield (2023, 93 minutes, 666):  Jenna co-stars in this horror comedy as Carol who was part of the self-help group for codependent relationships that Renfield attends.


Terrifier (2016, 85 minutes, 66 1/2):  Jenna co-stars in this gorefest as Tara who is trying to get away from Art the Clown.

JIM BEAVER

The Boys:  You Found Me S1, E8 (2019, 66 minutes, 666):  Jim guest stars in this superhero series as Secretary of Defense Robert A. Singer.


Supernatural:  Weekend at Bobby's S6, E4 (2010, 40 minutes, 666):  Jim plays the recurring role of Bobby who is like a father figure to Sam and Dean.  I this episode, Bobby goes to extreme measures to get his soul back from Crowley.

LIONEL ATWILL

Lionel is a wild card in My Own Madness but not in this Madness.  

Doctor X (1932, 76 minutes):  This is a horror film and Lionel stars as the title character so this counts.

LUISA D'OLIVEIRA

Luisa is not a wild card but she does have a few CW selections.

The 100:  Hakeldama S3, E5 (2016, 42 minutes, 666):  Luisa played the role of Emori in this post-apocalyptic series.


Supergirl:  In Plain Sight and Dangerous Liaisons S5, E4 and 5 (2017, 84 minutes, 666):  Luisa guest stars in this episodes as Breathtaker who is an assassin working for Leviathan.  I know not all episodes of this series will count but I think the presentation of Malefic should be enough


Supernatural:  It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester S4, E7 (2008, 42 minutes, 666):  Luisa guest stars in this series as Jenny.  A witch is sacrificing people to summon an ancient demon.

MIA GOTH

Mia is not a wild card this year but could be one someday.

Infinity Pool (2023, 117 minutes, 66 1/2):  Mia co-stars as the very mysterious Gabi who exposes a couple to a seemingly perfect island but is filled of hedonism and violence.

Pearl (2022, 103 minutes, 666):  Mia stars as the title character in this prequel to X.  Pearl is living on a farm and descends into madness living on a farm and pursuing her dream of dancing.

MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG

Michelle is one of our RIP wild cards for this year so anything counts for her.

Black Christmas (2006, 95 minutes, 66 1/2):  Michelle co-stars in this holiday slasher as Melissa.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer:  Once More With Feeling S6, E7 (2001, 50 minutes, 666):  Michelle plays Dawn in this series, and this is the musical episode which I'm not afraid to say I own on CD.  A demon comes to town making the town of Sunnydale break out into song and dance.

MIGUEL FERRER

Miguel is not a wild card this year but presented himself well to get a category in a couple qualifying animated selections.

Mulan (1998, 87 minutes, 666 1/2):  Miguel voices the main antagonist Shan Yu in this animated Disney film.  This should count on account of the dragon Mushu.


Teen Titans:  The Judas Contract (2017, 84 minutes, 66 1/2):  Miguel is the voice of Deathstroke in this animated superhero movie where he tries to take on the Titans.

PAMELA ANDERSON

This BAYWATCH babe is not a wild card but she does have some good selections.

Barb Wire (1996, 98 minutes, 66 1/2):  Pamela stars as the vigilante Barb Wire in this Dystopian movie.  This is also in many ways a remake a CASABLANCA.  Just don't call her babe.



Baywatch:  Coronado Del Soul Parts 1 and 2 S4, E14 and 15 (1994, 90 minutes, 66 1/2):  Pamela co-starred in this series as C.J. Parker.  In this episode, Summer is stalked by a ghost while on vacation so this episode qualifies.


Scary Movie 3 (2003, 84 minutes, 66 1/2):  Pamela has a cameo in this horror comedy spoof along with Jenny McCarthy in the beginning.


Stripperella:  Crime Doesn't Pay... Seriously, It Doesn't S1, E2 (2003, 24 minutes, 66 1/2):  Pamela stars in this animated series as the voice of stripper Erotica Jones who leads a double life as the superhero Stripperella in this short-lived animated series.

STEVE MCQUEEN

Steve is a wild card for My Own Madness but not this Madness.  I do have a qualifying selection though to make him into a category.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents:  Human Interest Story (1959, S4, E32, 666):  This series in general would always count but I thought I would look into Steve's guest appearance and the bit role for a young Clint Eastwood.  Description is in the recommendations section.

SUMMER GLAU 

Summer is not a wild card but could be one day.

Angel:  Waiting in the Wings S3, E13 (2002, 42 minutes, 666):  Summer is part of a ballet group that Angel attends and realizes it is the same thing he saw 100 years ago.


Knights of Bassassdom (2013, 86 minutes, 66 1/2):  Summer co-stars in this horror comedy as Gwen.  She is part of a group of live-action role players who accidentally conjure up a demon.  This has quite the all-star cast.

TERI GARR

Teri is one of our ATB wild cards this year so anything from her counts.  

Felicity:  It's Raining Men S3, 16 (2001, 44 minutes, 666):  Teri guest stars as Dr. Zwick in this episode and is the counselor for Amanda and Sean who are seeking counseling for their relationship.

Friends:  The One with Phoebe's Uterus S4, 11 (1998, 22 minutes, 666):  Teri reprises her role of Phoebe Abbott Sr. and would be her last episode on the sitcom.

Law and Order:  Special Victims Unit:  Starved S7, E8 (2005, 43 minutes, 666):  Teri guest stars on this show as attorney Minerva Grahame-Bishop.  Dean Cain takes an interesting villain turn in this one.

Tony is one of our RIP wild cards this year so anything he has done counts.

Angel:  The Shroud of Rahmon S2, E8 (2000, 43 minutes, 666):  Tony guest stars in this episode of the vampire series as Vyasa.

Boston Legal:  The Innocent Man S4, E2 (2007, 44 minutes, 666):  Tony guest stars in this episode as Detective Walter Berenson.  I could not find a photo of him with the show so I enclose a court photo.

Matlock:  The Narc S5, E5 (1990, 47 minutes, 666):  Tony guest stars on this episode as Billy Pierce who is part of a group of undercover cops.

Xena:  Warrior Princess:  Lost Mariner S2, E21 (1997, 45 minutes, 666):  Tony guest stars on this episode as Cecrops who is cursed to be on a ship.  Gabrielle ends up on the ship and Xena looks to save Gabrielle by looking to end the curse.

Arrow:  Crisis on Infinite Earths:  Part Four S8, E8 (2020, 42 minutes, 666):  The Paragons are stuck in the Vanishing Point.

Captain Planet and the Planeteers:  The Coral Killer S2, E8 (1991, 23 minutes, 66 1/2):  Hoggish Greedly tries to bring "dynamite fishing" fishing to the Philippines and the Planeteers try to convince the community that it is not the right way to go.

NWA Powerrr 10/15/2025 (2025, 49 minutes, 666):  The Sinister Minister James Mitchell is once again in this episode so this should count.


TNA Bound For Glory 2025 (2025, 237 minutes, 6666):  I thought Mance Warner and Steph de Lander's entrance should qualify this one.
